Filmore High School Class Of 1956
I'd like to welcome all the former Filmore High School graduates to the 45th annual class reunion, curtiousy of the former Miss Shirley, Feeney...now Meeney. I'm glad those of you could make it. As you all know, Shirley Feeney has been planning reunions since a week after we graduated. The first four were nice, but by the time she set up the 5th one, I was already sick of them. I didn't go, of course. Well, enough of me chattering. Let's bring out the girl who made this all possible... Mrs. Shirley Feeney Meeney!!!
Shirley:
Hello, everyone. It's great to be back here again and seeing all your faces. I had a great time at Filmore High School. I haven't seen a lot of you since 1966. When you thought that Laverne and I were movie stars in Hollywood. (looks out into the crowd) Boy, you all have changed a lot. Uh, is Laverne here? Oh, wait. I see her. Come on up here, Laverne! (Laverne is at the potium) Now, here's a few words from my bestest friend in the whole wide world, Laverne De Fazio.
Laverne:
That's Mrs. Ragusa to you...I'm kidding, Shirl. Well, I don't have a speech prepared or nothin'. So, I guess I'll make this short. Hello, everybody. (looks out into the crowd) Big Rosie, is that you? Boy, you haven't changed... you're still fat and ugly! Oh, and give up the loud colors. That died out in the mid 80's. Yuck!!That's Mrs. Ragusa to you...I'm kidding, Shirl. All Right, that's enough, Laverne. Honestly, even after 45 years, you two still can't get along. Well now is the time that we announce some of the former graduates to be reconized. (pulls out a piece of paper) Okay, stand when you are called.
Terry Buttafucco. Terry has been the strength (literally) of Filmore High School. Winning in wrestling.
Laverne De Fazio a.k.a. Gutsy, was a
member of the Angora Debs and my bestest friend.
I, of course, was a member of the Glee Club and the Angora Debs. I was nicknamed "Clutsy!"
Rosie Greenbaum, a.k.a. Big Rosie, was also a member of the Angora Debs.
Hector Kestonbaum, well we all know what he did.
He was nicknamed "Icky Hector." I'll say no more.
Leonard Kosnowsky, a.k.a. Lenny, he used to walk through the cafeteria with his eye lids sticking out. Okay, moving on.
Ann - Marie Polansky, a.k.a. "Nutsy", Hung out with the football players, was a member of the Angora Debs, and now she's a nun. Hmmm.
Carmine Ragusa, a.k.a. The Big Ragoo, was apart of the football team, was a boxer, singer, dancer, and not to mention my boyfriend for so many years.
Warren Spegal, a.k.a. "Eraserhead" was one of the unusal boys we had here at Filmore High School. I'll say no more.
Andrew Squiggman, a.k.a. Squiggy, also used to walk through the cafeteria with his eye lids sticking out. All right, last, but certainly not least...
Eleanor Stephnik a.k.a. Fat Eleanor,
I'm so sorry. She was a member of the Angora Debs.
